Twilight Princess is great because it has the WEIRDEST NPCs. You’ve got Agitha, the strange child who owns a massive house in Castle Town, thinks she’s a princess and is obsessed with bugs.
You have Jovani, the guy who sold his soul to poes in exchange for wealth and got TURNED TO GOLD in some perversion of the Midas myth. His cat is also gold and is totally frozen in place on his head.
Then there’s fucking MALO. Malo is one of my favorite characters in this whole franchise. A literal infant who’s off playing a tycoon game while you’re adventuring. He buys out the stupid overpriced shop in Castle Town and turns the snooty shopkeeper into a customer service drone. Also, the Malo Mart theme SLAPS forever. Animal Crossing music type track. KK Slider core. Seriously, listen.
